Hello!  My name is Rima Avellan and I am passionate about educating women in self-defense.   I am an NRA certified instructor for firearm use, safety and defense in South Florida.  I also have years of experience competing and teaching in martial arts including, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, boxing and kickboxing.

What does this mean for you?
As a female instructor, my goal is to educate and empower women with the knowledge and confidence required to defend themselves and their loved ones as necessary. As a woman, I know the hardships we sometimes face –in the household and at work, and I want to help you be better prepared. In this low-stress class tailored to the unique needs of women, you will learn how to properly handle and store your firearm, as well as how to care for and clean your gun. A portion of the class will take place in an outdoor range to put the concepts learned into practice. I will personally help you load your gun, shoot it, unload it, store it, and REPEAT the process as many times as it takes FOR YOU TO FEEL COMFORTABLE AND SECURE.
